Where the problems of this world connect with the promises of God - Banner

We believe the most important thing as adults is to continue passionately furthering God’s Kingdom. We are called to pave the way and be an example for the younger generation, and we believe this calling to be vital to the mission of God.  We recognize that this time in our lives is not the time to grow stagnant and dwell in the church pew.  We understand that the time is now for us to stand up to apathy and work in the mission of Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:16-20).  Our Connect Adult Ministry is committed to this idea and accomplishes it through:

One thing you will notice is how important we believe that God’s Word is to the life of our church.  We constantly are studying the Bible together as it “shapes us for the tasks God has for us in our lives” (2 Timothy 3:17).  We encourage our members to study scripture on their own time, but we also have Bible classes throughout the week so we can help each other better understand God’s calling on our lives.  We also offer a series of Bible studies that centrally focus on what God’s word says about following Him.  If you are interested in learning more about studying God’s Word, contact us, and we will set up a time to meet.

Our small groups are an important tool of our church and are designed to deepen our relationships with each other so that we may imitate the Acts 2 church. We gather weekly in the homes of our small group leaders and have prayer, training, and fellowship with one another to help us become the men and women that God calls us to be. Each adult small group is unique and diverse, so that anyone seeking a relationship with Christ can connect to others.

We believe that we were called to be a light to a dark world. We were all once hurting and hopeless people- now, we love sharing how Christ continues to transform our lives.  Jesus has made our broken families whole again, healed shattered hearts, generated new futures from wounded pasts, and given lost lives purpose.  We would love to fellowship with you and show you how God can turn any mess into a message!

“But as for you, teach what accords with sound doctrine. Older men are to be sober-minded, dignified, self-controlled, sound in faith, in love, and in steadfastness. Older women likewise are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers or slaves to much wine. They are to teach what is good…” Titus 2:1-3
